When I tell people I'm going to Iraq or Bangladesh or other conflict-ridden, poverty-prone countries their first response is usually something negative or ignorant about whether I will be safe or if everyone there lives in mud huts. I see beauty everywhere I go. I meet good people in every dark corner. I am passionate about showing this beauty in people in the most forgotten and unexpected places known mostly for their conflict, poverty, and violence. This series is my tribute to the everyday men of Bangladesh who labor day in and day out with little recognition.
